Selena Gomez Inspired Makeup Tutorial

Outfit Of The Night: Downtown Dancing

I dont know about you, but when I listen to a good song, no matter where I am, I can't help but move to the rhythm.  I have always loved to dance so on one of our date nights me and my love decided to go out dancing. For my outfit, I decided to wear leggings since I wanted to feel comfortable but of course still look cute. I bought mine at Guess.

I love the design on my top from Fashion Q, the bronze studs add a nice touch to the sheer black fabric. 

To add another little bronze touch to my outfit I wore this gorgeous ring I bought from Urban Outfitters.  I love the little dents on the metal.

I love shoes, so when I saw these beauties at Steve Madden I knew I had to buy them. Everything from the color to the height of the heel, they were calling my name. Funny how that always happens right? 

After trying to decide what nightclub to go to we ended up going to The Mayan in downtown Los Angeles. There was a live band playing salsa, cumbia, and merengue. I don't know about you but that is my kind of music, music that you cant help but dance to it ! The people at the club, not really my type but the music was good. 

We had a lot of fun dancing the night away and my love looked handsome as always.

Under the Sea at Ariels Grotto

When it comes to Disneyland, not only do I have in mind what rides I will be getting on, but what delicious places we will be eating at as well. All restaurants of course have a different price range and for 40 dollars a person you get a full-service 3 prix fixe dinner and you get your moneys worth.  Not to mention you receive reserved viewing tickets for World of Color.

First off is the appetizer, we began our dinner with a shrimp and lobster salad. I have to admit, it tasted delicious for a girl who doesn't eat seafood. This salad was paired with a few slices of butter as well as... some green pesto sauce, I believe. Either way, it was good!

One of the things that were included in our meal was this yummy sourdough bread in the shape of a flower. Isn't it pretty? It was very warm and toasty and it tasted delicious with butter.

Now, let me introduce you to the Antipasti Tower. This tower of food was made up of three different plates. The first was prosciutto with dried fruit pieces, manchego cheese and a blend of marinated olives. To be honest, I personally don't like olives or prosciutto, so this wasn't my favorite plate. However, my boyfriend loved it, and so he ate it all. :)

Next is my favorite plate, which happens to be the most colorful. Here, we had fruit, baby carrots, celery sticks, string chest and fruit gelatin WHICH WAS TO DIE FOR. The fruit was very sweet and fresh, I wanted more.

And the final plate was a mixed green salad served with a special vinaigrette. 

As for the entrees, my boyfriend and I ordered the same plate. We had an herb crusted chicken breast, served with steamed veggies and cheddar mashed potatoes. I was one happy camper with this dish, haha. 

Finally, we ate the dessert plate. The picture tells all. Cupcakes, berries, cookies, and lava cake? Oh my!

This was our amazing view from our table. We sat outside with the view of paradise pier. It was great hearing the distant screams of riders in California Screamin roller coaster.

As for the inside of Ariels Grotto, it was beautifully decorated. The ceiling was decorated with pearls, colorful lights, and seaweed. For a moment I felt like I was "Under The Sea". 

Eating at Ariels Grotto was fun and I'm glad I had this experience with my boyfriend. Although it was pricey, I liked the three course dinner that was served to us. it was fun seeing all the different plates being brought over to us. The food was delicious and the bonus tickets to the World of Color water show were really useful. So keep in mind that if you have money to spend on a tasty dinner, try Ariels Grotto in California Adventure's Park at the Disneyland Resort.

Outfit of the Day: Pretty in Pink

I recently just purchased some oxfords, which I've been dying to find, and now I have the perfect pair. I decided to wear them with this cute and simple outfit I threw together. ♡

The light pink tank and my cross necklace are from Forever 21.

My oxfords are from Fashion Q. They were only seventeen dollars, crazy right?

My bracelet was a gift... but it is very similar to a regular charm bracelet. Connected to the bracelet is a heart, dragonfly, peace sign, and other nice charms.

Finally, my jeans are from Pacsun and I just simply rolled them up. This is a very simple outfit but I really felt comfortable and confident in it. The accessories make it girly and the lace design on the back of the tank is super cute.

Adrienne Bailon Inspired Makeup Tutorial

For as long as I can remember, I have been a huge fan of Adrienne. From The Cheetah Girls to 3LW, and now the new talk show The Real, the cheetah-lishious girl continues to shine. Now, when it comes to the fabulous Adrienne Bailon, my favorite thing is her bronzy look. I love it so much that I decided to recreate one of her looks that she wore on The Real. I hope you enjoy it and get a chance to try this makeup look on yourself.

Disney Adventures: Look for the Disneyland Necessities

Welcome to the first official post from the Disneyland Adventure series! *Crowd roars in excitement!* I am your host Samantha and this post is dedicated to everything you need to make your disneyland trip successful. Without these necessities, it may get pretty crazy during the trip. Whether it is freezing while watching World of Color in California Adventure park, or having to spend tons of money on snacks when you got the munchies. Here are my suggestions and tips to having a great planned adventure at the Disneyland Resort.

Anaheim California can get pretty intense with its hot temperatures and bright sun. That is why I suggest bringing sunglasses. In this picture, my little sister Lindsey is modeling sunglasses I bought at Forever 21. Not only are they cute and protect your eyes from the sun, but they were also really inexpensive, which is a bonus! Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, at the Disneyland resort wears sunglasses. It is a definite must have when visiting the parks.

Apart from Anaheim getting extremely hot, it also becomes incredibly cold during the nighttime. This is when everyone pulls out their comfortable sweaters and keep themselves warm. Eslee bought her Mickey Mouse sweater at the Paradise Pier in California Adventures, cute right? Sweaters are also good incase you ride an attraction such as Splash Mountain or Grizzly Bear River Run, which are both fun water rides that leave you soaking wet. They are also perfect when watching the fireworks on a chilly night.

I personally am not a big fan of water however, after walking around the park for a while, I can't help but get thirsty. That's where water bottles come in hand. You can buy water bottles during your visit in Disneyland but for a higher price. A 20 oz bottle is $2.75 in the park, while anywhere else they are priced at $1.25. Everything is more expensive at the Disneyland Resort, so why not save some money by buying water at a nearby mini mart? 

Snacks. What else can I say? Stack a huge pile in your purse! One of the great things about Disneyland is the fact that they allow food to be brought inside the park. This is a huge money saver for I always bring chips, trail mix, drinks and more to satisfy my hunger. There have been many times while my sisters and I wait a 45 minute line with the munchies, and TA-DA, I pull out my can of pringles. Mess free and snack size too. ;)

This blue with stripes purse is my Disneyland go-to bag. I cannot go to the Disneyland Resort without it. It's the perfect size for all the things I would need to get me through the day. I can miraculously fit my wallet, camera, keys, sweater, snacks, and more... all inside this little purse. I feel like Mary Poppins with it, and I love it! I recommend every person to have their own side purse, so you can fit every necessity you may need. Also, having an extra pocket outside or within the purse is great for when you need quick access to your phone or fast passes!

If you are a Disneyland junkie and haven't downloaded this app, you are sure missing out. The Mousewait phone app is an answer to every prayer when it comes to wait times for rides, restaurants, and character meet and greets. I am always using this at Disneyland. It is a time saver because instead of walking all the way to Tomorrowland to see the wait time for Star Tours is 90 minutes long, you can instead pull out your phone and see the wait time at the instant from across the park. It works through people constantly updating the wait times at Disneyland attractions, and so it is always on point. The great thing about this app? It works on iPhones and Androids. So go ahead and download it before your visit to the Disneyland Resort.

Time flies when you are having fun and you may not notice how quickly the hours are passing by. However, your feet will certainly feel it. This is why I recommend that comfortable shoes are a must! Both Disneyland and Disney Adventures Park are huge, which means a lot of walking. You walk to the parking lot tram, through downtown Disney, and finally everywhere inside the park. It's a complete workout to be honest, and not having the proper shoes can lead to a painful experience. Take Converse All Star shoes for example, those are the worst when it comes to a long walk; trust me, I know. So save yourself the aches and bring comfortable shoes with you, because by the end of the day, your feet will be thankful.

Outfit of the Day: Stars and Stripes (4th of July)

Happy 4th of July !

Great food, good conversation and extremely loud fireworks, the day was spent with our loved ones and we enjoyed every minute of it.  This is what I wore for my family's BBQ "Carne Asada" get-together. 

My black leggings are from Target, while my white T-shirt, denim vest, and spiked bracelet are from Forever 21. My brown sandals are from American Eagle Outfitters. As for my watch, it is a Burberry watch, a gift from my love.

Nothing shows being more patriotic than wearing the flag on your denim vest! I love the subtle design of the flag on the sides.

I love this watch, it's so sparkly in the sunlight.

The spiked bracelet is there to hurt you incase you want to touch !

I hope everyone had a great time celebrating our Independence day and ate really good food, we can start eating healthy after this long weekend ends.

I Don't Know About You But I'm Feeling... 23.

On June 27, 2013 I turned 23 years young ! To celebrate, my family and I went out to dinner to one of my favorite restaurants, and later that night went home to eat some delicious cake and unwrap some very beautiful gifts. I had such a good time with my family.

Zelda Symphony Outfits & Pictures

For those who don't know, I'm a huge Legend of Zelda fan. Nintendo has always been a part of me, so attending the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses was a MUST. The event took place at the Greek Theatre located in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. 

Instead of going in my regular zelda clothing, I decided to get a little dressed up for the occasion. Since the outdoor event started at 8:00 pm, I decided to wear something cute and comfy. I wore a mustard yellow cardigan from Forever 21 to prevent me from freezing, a peplum top from Pacsun, and my  Jessica Simpson jeggings from Macy's. As for shoes, I wore my little black oxford shoes from Forever 21.

AND SURPRISE! My boyfriend did an Outfit of the Day look as well! Here is what Alejandro wore to the Zelda Symphony. His long sleeve is from H&M while his black jeans are from Hot Topic. Finally his boots are from Steve Madden.

And well, that's about it! The music was breathtaking... and I admit I did shed a tear or two during the Ocarina of Time movement. Overall, it was amazing and Alejandro and I both loved it. To be honest, I would definitely go again, and again... and again. For now, I will satisfy my Legend of Zelda addiction with the upcoming Wind Waker HD for my Wii U.
